Non-Custodial Service: Steadfast Wallet is a non-custodial, self-custody cryptocurrency wallet. You are solely responsible for the security of your private keys and seed phrases. We cannot access, recover, or restore your funds.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Steadfast Wallet ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.
2. Description of Service
Steadfast Wallet is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet application that allows you to:
- Generate and manage cryptocurrency wallets
- Send and receive cryptocurrency transactions
- View your balances and transaction history
- Access third-party services such as fiat on-ramps
3. Self-Custody and Responsibility
IMPORTANT: You are solely responsible for maintaining the security and backup of your private keys and seed phrases. If you lose your seed phrase, your funds cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.
By using the Application, you acknowledge and agree that:
- We do not store, have access to, or control your private keys or seed phrases
- We cannot recover lost or stolen funds
- We cannot reverse, cancel, or modify any blockchain transactions
- You are responsible for the security of your device and credentials
- You must maintain secure backups of your seed phrase
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Application. By using the Application, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the Application for:
- Any illegal activities or in violation of any applicable laws
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes
- Circumventing any sanctions or export controls
- Fraudulent or deceptive activities
- Interfering with or disrupting the Application or its infrastructure
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any systems
6. Third-Party Services
The Application may integrate with third-party services such as:
- Fiat on-ramp providers (e.g., MoonPay, Transak)
- Cryptocurrency exchanges
- Merchant payment services
- Blockchain networks and nodes
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or services of third parties.
7. Risks
You acknowledge the inherent risks associated with cryptocurrency, including but not limited to:
- Price Volatility: Cryptocurrency values can fluctuate significantly
- Regulatory Risk: Laws and regulations regarding cryptocurrency may change
- Technology Risk: Blockchain networks and smart contracts may have bugs or vulnerabilities
- Irreversibility: Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed once confirmed
- Loss of Access: Lost private keys or seed phrases result in permanent loss of funds
8. No Financial Advice
Nothing in the Application constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You should consult with qualified professionals before making any financial decisions. We do not endorse any particular cryptocurrency or investment strategy.
9. Intellectual Property
The Application and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Steadfast Wallet and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL STEADFAST WALLET, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR FUNDS, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Application shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, during the twelve months prior to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Steadfast Wallet and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Application, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Application at any time. Since the Application is non-custodial, your cryptocurrency remains accessible through your seed phrase even if you uninstall the Application or we discontinue the service.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
16. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Application shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
